Selin Gencoglu, born in Istanbul in 1999, embarked on a journey of self-discovery that led her to a profound connection with art. Graduating from Lycée Saint-Benoît in 2018, she pursued her education in architecture at ENSA Paris-Belleville in France, where she discovered her passion for art through architecture. After earning her bachelor's degree in 2021, Selin continued her education with a postgraduate program in architecture at ENSA Paris-Belleville in 2022. She also completed a seven-month architectural internship at "Architects and Han Tumertekin" in Istanbul, which fueled her enthusiasm for design and drawing. During her master's program in architecture, she decided to write a thesis in fine arts titled “The Gaze and Absence.” This marked the beginning of her professional painting journey.
